Shelly values the therapeutic relationship and takes meaningful steps to get to know each person she works with on an individual level, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their work together. She views her clients as experts on their own experiences and employs a highly collaborative approach. Each session is tailored to her client’s unique needs each week, whether venting and processing, skill building, or goal setting. Everything is welcome in this safe space.

Message to clients

I create space to meet your individualized needs on a session-by-session basis. I strive to create a safe, warm, and collaborative environment to prioritize your healing goals in a supportive and empowering way. Our personal working connection is the foundation of meaningful work together. Upholding this therapeutic relationship is of the utmost priority. I get to know each and every one of my clients as a whole person, including who they are beyond their presenting issues or symptoms.

I was lucky enough to know what I wanted to do with my life from an extremely young age, thanks to the life-changing experiences I had with my childhood therapist. From then on, I knew I wanted to help people the way she helped me. Making connections with strong, resilient, and diverse individuals is the most rewarding path I could have ever chosen. I provide the same safe, welcoming, healing space I was given for all of my clients and empower them through their journey.
