Your lived experience is a complex web of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that shape how you see yourself and relate to the world. When that web gets tangled and the usual fixes don’t help, things can begin to pile up and leave you feeling confused, lonely, and overwhelmed. I believe therapy should be an affirming space to explore the depths of your experience and discover the keys that unlock stability and self-actualization, on your terms.
I believe you are the expert on your life, possessing deep knowledge of your identity, values and the way you move in the world. I will serve as a mirror, reflecting and supporting as you process pieces of yourself. Through honest dialogue, mindful reflection, & self-acceptance, we can develop tools to help you authentically navigate life's obstacles.
My approach is culturally affirming, trauma-informed, and person-centered. I have supported clients from many different backgrounds. As a Black man with social work training, I recognize that social systems can further complicate your unique web of experience. You don’t have to do the work of untangling alone.
