Professional statement

Stephanie is a Licensed Master in Social Work who is passionate about her commitment to promoting wellness, wholeness and goodness into the world one person at a time.

Stephanie utilizes various therapeutic approaches starting with:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is an evidence based approach that focuses on helping clients understand how thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected.

Solution-focused therapy, which is a strength based approach to psychotherapy based on solution- building in collaboration with her clients.

She utilizes elements of Eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) in her approach which enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences through bilateral eye movement. Lastly she incorporates elements of somatic based approaches such as breath work, meditation, visualization and grounding.

Whether it is one or a little bit of all the approaches listed above, Stephanie will utilize her skill set to provide her clients with a personalized approach to facilitate the best possible outcome.
