Professional statement

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and an EMDR-certified clinician with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I have had the privilege of working with diverse individuals and systems, including adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

My work is guided by a commitment to support clients in achieving personal growth and building practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. Throughout my career, trauma has been a consistent theme in the cases I’ve supported, motivating me to deepen my understanding and provide care through a trauma-informed lens.

I have specialized training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and spiritual approaches. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which help clients develop effective coping strategies, increase self-awareness through mindfulness, and identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns.

My clinical experience includes treating anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, panic disorder, and acute stress, as well as mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder. I also provide support for life transitions and relationship concerns.

Message to clients

I know that reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, and I want you to feel welcomed and supported right from the start. I’m here to meet you with empathy, understanding, and genuine care. I value a collaborative, interactive style, and I’ll encourage you to reflect, explore new perspectives, and build insight that supports your growth.

At the heart of my work is the belief that conversation can be powerful. Speaking openly can help ease stress, make space for what feels heavy, and strengthen your ability to sort through challenges with clarity and compassion. My goal is to empower you through meaningful dialogue—at a pace that feels right for you.

I take a holistic approach, looking at the whole picture of your life to better understand what may be contributing to what you’re experiencing. I believe the best results come from working together as a team, and I’m committed to creating a strong therapeutic alliance where you feel heard, respected, and not alone.

To help you get started, I offer phone consultations so we can talk about what you’re looking for and whether my services feel like a good fit for your needs. In our first session, I’ll complete an intake assessment to better understand your history and goals. Then, we’ll develop a treatment plan together—one that’s tailored to you.

I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and renewed hope.
