Professional statement

I believe everyone deserves to feel their best - so let’s get you there. I am psychoanalytically oriented, meaning I challenge my clients to look inward to uncover what may be standing in their way. It can be uncomfortable, but that’s okay! Sometimes we have to look introspectively in order to move forward. Together we will confront your current struggles by analyzing how you got there in the first place. I also utilize dialectical behavioral techniques to identify unproductive defense mechanisms and to make meaningful steps toward combatting intrusive thoughts and negative behaviors. I promise a no-judgment zone where we can get real and honest about what is preventing you from being the best version of yourself. I welcome anyone who is ready to make meaningful change, even if they don’t know what that looks like yet.
