Psychologist, PsyDTameer Siddiqui is a licensed clinical psychologist. Her doctoral dissertation explored the relationship between employee burnout and trauma-informed care. Her clinical focus consists of working with adults coping with post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties; family conflict, work burnout, adjustment to major life transitions; and integration of their marginalized identity(ies) (e.g., LGBTQ+; racial/ethnic minorities; SES disparities) with their whole person.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Panic attacks / panic disorder - Brief, intense periods of overwhelming fear or anxiety
Performance anxiety - Underperforming, due exclusively to anxiety
Social anxiety - Helping clients increase confidence and ability to interact with others amidst fear of being judged, worry about embarrassment, or concern about offending others
Climate anxiety - Coping with the unique stress created by climate change, including managing any overwhelming feelings of impending disaster and finding outlets for advocacy
Worry - Learning how worry shows up in one’s life and exploring how worry impacts daily life, relationships, and wellbeing; developing coping skills to mitigate the impacts of worry
