Professional statement

Tess works to create an environment where her clients feel seen and heard. She has spent the past two years working with a diverse population of clients. In this time she has learned that one of the most important qualities of an effective therapist is to prioritize building a trusting, empathetic, and understanding therapeutic alliance with all her clients. Emphasizing her client's strengths, along with the cultivated therapeutic relationship, Tess believes the healing process can begin.

Message to clients

Offering a safe environment for honesty, authenticity, and vulnerability, I meet you where you are while supporting you in achieving your goals, recognizing your worth and learning how you can take up space. While challenging you in ways that may feel uncomfortable you will begin to see how strong you are and experience the healing process.

I am passionate about social work and want to help those whom society has pushed aside. No matter who you are or what you believe in, you are valuable and are allowed to take up space. Together we will learn to build trusting relationships that can help you grow.
