Dr. Tiffany C. Miller is a Licensed Psychologist in New York who specializes in seeing adults in their late 20s-40s who are navigating life transitions, self-esteem issues, or relationship challenges. She especially enjoys working with individuals who are entering therapy for the first time and addressing the misconceptions and taboos of treatment while exploring the process and benefits. She also has experience in depression, anxiety and imposter syndrome.
Dr. Miller is well trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, and has augmented her strong foundation with cognitive behavioral techniques, and a strengths based perspective that allows her to expand her helping strategies. She finds it beneficial to explore how experiences in an individual’s childhood affects their current relationships and how they interact with the world.
Having worked in a wide variety of settings including hospital psychiatric units, outpatient mental health centers, emergency rooms and nursing homes, and with patients from a wide variety of ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic and religious backgrounds, Dr. Miller has a deep understanding of where people are coming from. She looks forward to helping clients better understand, value and have compassion for themselves and approaches treatment with each individual with openness and acceptance.
