Professional statement

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in the state of Georgia, with 20 years of experience. I received a Bachelors of Social Work from Jacksonville State University. I decided to further my education and obtained a Masters of Social Work from Florida State University. I completed my education with a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in Phoenix, Arizona.

My career has been focused on working with clients from multiple backgrounds, with some of the following issues/concerns: dual diagnosis, adjustment problems, PTSD, depression, anxiety, family cohesion problems, as well as, relationship problems. I use the following approaches; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Body-Mind Psychotherapy.

In our first session, we'll get to know each other and determine a needs. Depending on my client's needs, I often use a combination of different therapies so as to tailor to my client's specific needs.
