She/Her/Hers
Marriage and Family Therapist, MFTI am currently accepting new clients in person and online.
Virginia completed her graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy with a focus in Expressive Arts Therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. Her sincere hope is that her clients can utilize the therapeutic relationship as a safe, nonjudgemental space to honestly explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences. She works with children, adolescents and adults; as well as couples and families to explore a range of challenges related to relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction and LGBTQ issues.
Virginia takes a collaborative approach to her work and encourages clients to be a full partner in their healing and growth. Virginia aims to support clients to build a deeper sense of self understanding and compassion as they identify strengths and resources. Virginia’s practice is informed by her experience within mindfulness practice and creative arts therapy. She is also a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and offers opportunities to integrate somatic practice into her psychotherapeutic work with clients.
