A Veteran. Is a person, that choose for any number of reasons, to join the Military and sign a check to their nation which included their life and well being. As a veteran you are expected to expend your body and mind for the mission up to and including death. While completing the mission is the goal, casualties are inevitable. Most people can spot a veteran who suffered a physical injury in the line of duty (Burns/Amputations/Scars). Very few if any can spot the veteran who suffered a mental health injury in the line of duty (PTSD/Anxiety/Depression/Adjustment Disorder, etc.).
This is were Mr. McLemore Comes in. As a veteran he has marched that mile in the same boots they did. Enjoyed the same world famous MRE's. Veterans will open up to other veterans in ways they will not with a civilian counselor. Many suffer in silence not knowing that there is help out there willing to help them.
