Professional statement

Zohar is queer, Jewish, and white. Her approach is collaborative, supportive, and strengths-based. Zohar works from a kink affirming and sex-positive approach and has experience working with non-monogamous and poly individuals. She holds a masters degree in social work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.

Zohar is also a freelance theater director and received her MFA at Boston University. As a theater director, Zohar understands the specific challenges of working in the performing arts industry. She loves working with other artists in navigating the unique stressors of this field. Zohar enjoys working with couples and also has extensive experience working with LGBTQ survivors of intimate partner abuse. Zohar works at Kip Therapy and is available to meet both in person and remotely.
