Description
This group focuses on the practical application of the core skills to help navigate daily stressors with more clarity and less overwhelm. We will cover the four modules in this lightning fast 13-week course. Using mindfulness, we will learn to stay grounded in the present instead of getting lost in the "what-ifs". We will spend time practicing distress tolerance to assist in crisis survival moments when life is just too much. Emotional regulation is not just out of reach after this course. We will spend time understanding why we feel the way we do and how to turn down the volume on the intense emotions. Lastly, we will learn how to set boundaries and communicate in our interpersonal effectiveness module.
This group is ideal for adults who are wanting to improve their resilience, communication, and self-awareness. It is perfect for folks who are new to these concepts or are trying to brush up on the way to walk the "Middle Path" in this busy world.
The commitment is just 13 weeks for 75 minutes a week and you will leave with a personalized toolkit to help you navigate your emotions and behaviors. This group is all about skill building, not so much about processing, so we will spend a great deal of time learning and practicing skills as opposed to deep processing of trauma. Call or email for a free consult and see if you might be a good fit for the group! I look forward to connecting with you!
