Why Choose Trauma-Informed Care through a social justice lens:

Physical, verbal, emotional, and sexual trauma can leave lasting imprints on our lives, affecting our overall well-being. For women of color, this is often complicated by race, gender, economics, and more. Traditional talk therapy may fall short when it comes to addressing the intricate connections between mind, body, and spirit. Denise understands that true healing involves healing the nervous system as well as the mind for optimal well-being.
