In this busy, face-paced world, where we are inundated by information and so much is asked of us by our jobs, relationships, families and communities, I’ve found it is incredibly beneficial (but often difficult) to prioritize time for oneself. Therapy offers a chance to give yourself a pause, to slow down, to reconnect with yourself, and to take a deeper look at your experience within a safe and supportive environment.
For many, simply making the decision to seek therapy is a major first step, and one you can feel proud of. Life can certainly have its peaks and valleys, and throughout it all, therapy can help one navigate these experiences. In sessions, we will work together and at your own pace. I will support you in facing issues that feel painful, overwhelming or confusing, and to make meaning of these experiences. I will help you access your own internal strength and resilience as you take steps in the healing process and in the challenging, yet rewarding, journey of change.
