Lauren sees a wide range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families. Lauren helps many of her clients navigate general life stressors life transitions or any other issues that may arise in one's personal or professional life. Lauren has a nice blend in session, offering her clients a warm cozy environment to open up and share their stories, while also providing direct and honest feedback and using gentle challenging strategies to help clients view things from a different perspective. The aim is to have her clients feel encouraged and empowered to evolve and grow while getting their needs met and accomplishing their goals.
Lauren helps her clients learn new skills and tools by utilizing scientifically-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Stress-Reduction techniques as well as Solution Focused Therapy to achieve their goals. She works with her clients to adapt more flexible ways of thinking to help prevent them from falling into a common vicious cycle that leaves them feeling emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, and burned out.
Lauren wants her clients to walk out the door with more confidence and motivation to make powerful and positive changes to improve their overall well-being. This starts with decreasing unhealthy thinking styles and learning or re-building healthy habits and putting those into action. In turn, people will be more accepting of themselves and feel more fulfilled in their lives, knowing that they are becoming the person they strive to be!
