Individual and Group Therapy for Eating Disorders and Co-occurring Mood Disorders
We are an in-person Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program with an emphasis on behavioral health interventions for eating and mood disorders.
Eating disorders can be chronic-complex conditions, especially when co-occurring with trauma or mood disorders (i.e., depression, anxiety). Bayberry offers a person-centered, holistic, and evidence-based treatment approach to help our clients on their recovery journey.
Bayberry Center for Eating Disorders offers individual and group therapy for disordered eating, eating disorders, and co-occurring mood disorders. We are an in-person program located in the Wayland section of Providence, RI.
The treatment team at Bayberry Center for Eating Disorders specializes in behavioral health interventions related to or resulting in disordered eating. We will work with members of your treatment team, including medical doctors, psychiatrists, and nutritionists to provide a holistic approach to your care and recovery.
Bayberry Center for Eating Disorders is licensed by the State of Rhode Island and accredited by The Joint Commission to provide Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program services for eating disorders and co-occurring mood disorders.
Anorexia nervosa - Support around distorted body image and beliefs around food; counseling to reshape problematic behaviors and thought patterns; coping strategies for safely increasing body weight.
Binge eating disorder - Support around distorted body image and beliefs around food; counseling to reshape problematic behaviors and thought patterns; coping strategies for reducing or eliminating episodes of binge eating.
Bulimia nervosa - Support around distorted body image and beliefs around food; counseling to reshape problematic behaviors and thought patterns; coping strategies for safely reducing or eliminating episodes of binging and purging and/fasting.
Eating disorders & disordered eating - Reducing unhealthy eating patterns, beliefs, and behaviors, such as restricting, purging, and binging; healing the emotional pain surrounding disordered eating
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Mood disorders - Clinical depression, persistent depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders that cause disturbances in the client's mood, causing mood swings, restless sleep, and/or elevated mood
