About
What services does your practice offer?
California Women’s Therapy provides individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and couples counseling to the women of California and their loved ones. We are especially passionate about working with women in their 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's -- this period of time includes many major life transitions and competing responsibilities and priorities.
Our therapists utilize a variety of evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, psychodynamic approaches, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to name a few.
Our initial screening process and free initial consultations allows us to match each new client with the right therapist for her.
What are your practice's specialties?
With so many experienced therapists on the team, California Women’s Therapy offers a wide range of specialized therapies. While some therapists have training in post-partum and maternal issues, others offer support to problem solve, organize, and make major life decisions. Couples counseling is also available at California Women’s Therapy, offering clients the chance to build intimacy with their partners, grow trust, or work through issues with infidelity, passion, or sex.
Why should I choose your practice?
California Women’s Therapy is a large group practice with over 11 therapists offering sessions - not only does this mean that there is greater availability and shorter waitlists than smaller practices, but it also offers you a diverse range of therapy types, styles, and approaches. Because this practice is an online practice, all sessions are accessible via computer, phone, or tablet for easy integration into your daily life. The therapists at California Women’s Therapy understand that women’s lives are filled with roles - mother, friend, worker, partner - and they aim to make therapy not only easy to access but attuned to the specific needs of women. Their dedication to empowering women and boosting mental health is a passion for each member of the team, all of whom are ready to support you as you begin your therapy journey.
How does payment work at your practice?
If you choose to work with one of our providers, you will complete a credit card authorization form that is billed immediately following each session. We partner with Reimbursify to help clients utilize their out-of-network benefits.
