The Essential Counseling Services team will assist you in identifying your strengths and unique abilities which will contribute to overall treatment success. We have licensed therapists in multiple states who are available either for in-person or via tele-health sessions to assist you on the path to healing. Our therapists are trained in multiple modalities, such as: Psychodynamic, CBT, TF-CBT, Interpersonal Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapies, and The Nurtured Heart Approach. Clinicians engage with their clients utilizing evidence-based practices and are actively involved in trainings/workshops to enhance their clinical skillset.

Essential Counseling Services is a therapy group practice currently located in Montclair, New Jersey and Midtown Manhattan. We offer individual and couples therapy through telehealth and in person sessions. Collectively we provide mental health services to children, adolescents and adults. We have a billing company that we work with who submit claims on your behalf directly to your insurance company. Prior to scheduling an appointment, the billing company will review your insurance benefits including your financial responsibility (co-pay, deductible etc) so that you can determine what is in your best interest financially.
