What services does your practice offer?

Generations Behavioral Healthcare (GBH) is a full-service behavioral healthcare practice offering psychiatric medication management, neuropsychological evaluation, individual, couples counseling, and family therapy, and executive coaching. We serve clients ranging in age from five years old to adulthood.

What are your practice's specialties?

GBH specializes in providing evidence-based and holistic behavioral healthcare for anxiety, depression, grief and loss, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, ODD, OCD, substance abuse, work stress, anger management, relationship problems, troubled teens, defiant children, trauma, personality disorders, cultural identity and racial oppression, and LGBTQIA+ issues. In addition, we provide faith-based counseling services.

Why should I choose your practice?

Our focus at GBH is to help our clients heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral, safe space, listening to our clients' concerns, and developing a customized treatment plan to help our clients achieve their goals. We use evidence-based treatment protocols whenever possible. We believe in a holistic treatment of problems combining counseling, psychiatry, psychological evaluation (where appropriate), healthy lifestyle choices, social support, and spiritual pursuit.

GBH is also one a select few group private practices in all of Illinois that offers the full range of behavioral healthcare and also works with private Medicaid plans like Meridian and BCBS Medicaid.

How does payment work at your practice?

At GBH, we offer two tiers of pricing - our usual and customary fee schedule if you choose to use your insurance or private Medicaid plan and our preferred private pay fee schedule if you would prefer to pay out of pocket for services. Our usual and customary rates are already discounted compared to what other comparable practices are charging. However, our preferred private pay fee schedule offers a 50%-75% discount on our already low pricing and starts as low as $60 per session. We also offer sliding scale rates for those clients who quality. For insurance, we will gladly submit your insurance claims and invoice you for any balance due after receiving an explanation of benefits.
