InTouch & Motion is a creative arts therapy practice in the Old Irving Park and Ravenswood areas of Chicago. We offer individual therapy for adults, children, and adolescents as well as couples, family, and group therapy sessions.
In addition to traditional counseling, as creative arts therapists we focus on the creative process - in mind, body, and spirit - and how creative thinking, art making, movement, sound, breath, and other mindful practices can support your growth and healing. We offer dance/movement therapy, art therapy, heart-centered hypnotherapy, and past life regression.
Many of our clients come in when stress has reached a breaking point, whether it’s due to the reemergence of traumatic past events, significant life changes, burnout at work, or loss of creativity and motivation. Stressful moments play out across the landscape of the body and mind; by learning to tune into physical cues and sensations, clients calm overwhelming emotions and move in the direction of positive change. Stress is complicated, confusing, and often difficult to articulate. Using creativity and art making can help make emotions more visible and bring new insights, while helping you understand them or communicate about them with your partner or family. If you seek to learn how to accept or express parts of yourself or your experience, this is the space for you. Curious? Want to know more? Schedule a call for a free consultation and lets see if your journey begins here.
At InTouch & Motion, we know that talking about it isn't enough. Connecting to all aspects of your experience - mind, body, and spirit - can support you in gaining insight, finding balance, and feeling joy again.
