We are particularly interested in helping you feel freer, more connected, and more like the author of your own life, so that you can achieve what you hope for in work and relationships. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will work to transform long-standing patterns that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction, we look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
We work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues, providing consultation, individual, couples, and group therapy in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere. Medication consultations with our staff psychiatrist are also available. We offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client's individual needs and preferences. To set up an appointment, please schedule a phone consultation.
Our team of licensed psychologists represent a range of theoretical orientations and training specializations. Each therapist brings a deep commitment to the science and art of psychotherapy, and all have received doctorates and undergone extensive training accredited by the American Psychological Association.
While we may use somewhat different approaches, each therapist at Kendall Psychological Associates is committed to the principle of respect for our clients, and each therapy proceeds with non-judgmental careful listening, warmth, and professionalism.
Clients in psychotherapy at KPA may also be referred to our staff psychiatrist, Dr. Wendy Reiser, DO. Dr. Reiser uses a psychodynamic approach in combination with psychopharmacologic treatment. Dr. Reiser received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is also a Staff Psychiatrist on the Psychopharmacology team in the Outpatient Department at Cambridge Health Alliance, and is a Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

This provider can support you in getting reimbursement from your insurance company if you are seeking out-of-network reimbursement. Here are the out-of-network billing options they provide:
For clients with BCBS: Clients with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans are responsible only for co-pays and deductibles. Payment is due at the time of your meeting.
For clients with insurance other than BCBS: Our services may still be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee-benefit plan. Most PPO and POS plans have "out-of-network" benefits that will cover some percentage of the cost. If you have an HMO from a company other than BCBS, most likely your insurance will not cover our services and you would need to pay directly.
