Practice Information

Searchlight Psychological Service is a practice located in Columbus, OH that serves children, teenagers, adults, and parents. We specialize in evidence-based assessment and treatment of wide-ranging mental health concerns. Our providers primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is the gold-standard psychological treatment for disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and conduct/behavioral problems. We also treat individuals experiencing difficulties adjusting to stressful life situations (e.g., chronic illness, interpersonal conflict), insomnia, mild substance use problems/behavioral addiction, and a number of other presenting problems. Our assessment specialty includes ADHD (child and adult), giftedness, and psychological disorder.

In therapy, our providers take a skill-based, time-limited approach to help clients develop tools to cope with strong emotions and whatever challenges they may encounter. Although we are located in Columbus, we are available for clients across Ohio for virtual therapy services and assessment for those who can travel to the Columbus area.
