The PWCB believes that all women and families deserve to be healthy and thrive. Sometimes, the adjustment to parenthood brings emotional challenges that can interfere with the health and wellness of the whole family. The PWCB is committed to working together with clients and patients so that health is attainable.

When you work with a therapist at the PWCB, you can trust that your care will be a top priority. Our therapists work beyond the boundaries of your 50 minute session- they will consult with other providers on your behalf, be available by phone and email between sessions, and consider your wellness from a biopsychosocial perspective. Our therapists are committed to ongoing professional development and, through working as a part of a team, are committed to evidence-based and best-practice treatment and care.

Come be a part of our community!

About

What services does your practice offer?

The PWCB is a comprehensive care clinic focusing on the mental health of mothers and their families. Our team of providers, all trained in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, consist of practitioners in mental health, reproductive psychiatry, acupuncture, lactation, naturopathic medicine, and infant and child sleep support. The PWCB team is committed to helping families set up systems to help them thrive. Our providers offer collaborative care whenever possible.

PWCB psychotherapists offer support for individuals and couples as well as support in parenting and attachment.

What are your practice's specialties?

The PWCB has a unique specialty in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADS) like postpartum depression and anxiety, but these are not the only challenges that support and treat. The PWCB is focused on promoting the mental health of all women, men, children, and families through reproduction and the transition to parenthood and beyond. Areas of support include but are not limited to fertility/infertility support, pregnancy support, postpartum support, miscarriage and neonatal loss support, early parenting support, general maternal and paternal mental health support, adoption and third party reproduction, couples support, and trauma and grief support.

Why should I choose your practice?

The PWCB believes in the value of comprehensive and collaborative care whenever possible and believes in the model of biopsychosocial health. Women and families do best when there is attention given to their biology (physical wellness), psychology (beliefs and thoughts), and social systems (connections and community.) Together, our team of mental health and multi disciplinary providers will help educate you with everything you need to help you move towards health and wellness. All of our providers are speciality trained to understand the unique challenges of perinatal and postpartum health.

Our team of psychotherapists are committed to providing you with exceptional support. Our intake coordinator will work with you to get you connected with a therapist that meets your specific emotional and financial needs.

How does payment work at your practice?

The PWCB provides a range of payment options for clients and patients to insure excellent care regardless of financial need. For clients/patients choosing to pay out of pocket, psychotherapy fees range fro $250-40. Our low fee therapy is provided by our graduate and postgraduate clinicians under the direct and thorough supervision of our clinical director and supervising therapists. In addition, the PWCB accepts medicaid insured clients/patients. For clients/patients paying out of pocket for service, the PWCB provides direct submission to insurance for reimbursement and contribution towards deductibles.
