Our main goal at The Virtual Counselors is to provide quality online therapy (also known as virtual counseling, teletherapy, or cyber-counseling). We warmly welcome individuals, couples, and families who are navigating personal difficulties or times of significant change.
We invite you to share a therapeutic experience with us to explore and uncover your true essence, manage your emotional pain, and work to shift your internal view of yourself to a positive awareness of who you genuinely are. We work well with issues such as: anxiety; depression; trauma; self esteem; single parents; familial and other relationships.
All couples experience difficulties during a committed or long-term relationship. We Help couples work to resolve conflicts, addiction issues, develop trust and reconnect. We do this by applying relationship tools, problem-solving, conflict management and role modeling communication skills so that every partner feels heard, important and a priority in the relationship.
Because obstacles are rarely overcome by talk alone, the mind-body connection is paramount in our work. We have a collaborative, integrative approach and believe in the primacy of the nervous system in the healing process. By providing access to our body’s natural healing system, these body-oriented approaches are particularly effective for healing trauma and stress disorders as well as symptoms of depression and anxiety.
We think getting some solid, experienced input can be very helpful. A new perspective, a new idea, a supportive trusting ear is always a good opportunity, especially when life becomes more challenging. We would be happy to join you on your discovery towards a more joyful, peaceful, and successful life.

At The Virtual Counselors, we are very interactive therapists and are not passive. We give a lot of feedback and guidance to clients. Clients seem to appreciate this, and it allows them to get a sense of our active and caring style. We also believe that clients need to have goals to work on in-between sessions so that they can get the full benefits of therapy.
We are an out-of-network practice; however, we help you meet your deductible as fast as we can. We are happy to submit claims on your behalf directly to your insurance company, or we can provide you with a bill for you to submit.
