Practice Information

Turningpoint Psychotherapy, P.C. is a dedicated behavioral health practice established in January 2006 in Lincoln, Nebraska, by Duol W. Rut, MA, LIMHP, LPC. Our mission is to provide culturally and linguistically relevant counseling services to a diverse clientele, fostering a friendly, nurturing, and efficient environment. With additional locations in Phoenix, Arizona, we focus on supporting at-risk youth, children, teen mothers, and senior citizens facing mental health challenges. We aim to empower individuals and families to achieve mental wellness and lead fulfilling lives.

At Turningpoint Psychotherapy, we are committed to restoring balance and control in the lives of our clients through personalized therapeutic counseling and consulting services. We serve individuals, groups, couples, and families, ensuring our services are accessible to residents of Lancaster County and throughout the state. Our collaborative approach involves working closely with mental health and healthcare providers to deliver effective, culturally sensitive care. We specialize in addressing the unique transition issues faced by African and African American individuals, refugees, and underserved populations, aiming to break down socio-economic barriers to success.

Our team of clinicians, including Duol W. Rut, Nyadak T. Deng, MSW, PLCSW, PLMHP, and Lobojo David Ladu, MS, PLMHP, is dedicated to promoting personal growth through behaviorally-based and solution-focused interventions. We treat every client with respect, dignity, and compassion, regardless of their background. Our core values—collaboration, hospitality, respect, innovation, stewardship, and teaching—guide our practice as we strive to enhance the emotional well-being and independence of families and individuals in our communities. At Turningpoint Psychotherapy, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives we touch.
