I am an ANCC board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who partners with clients to explore their own unique mental health and wellness path in a warm, empathetic and safe environment.
I have 16 years of nursing experience that has directly informed my practice and ethos. Trust, communication, shared humanity, and authenticity are fundamental to the therapeutic relationship. I center my approach to care on the idea that mental health support begins with treating the whole person, which includes but is not limited to gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, culture and core values. I align with body neutrality and Health At Every Size (HAES) principles. I’m passionate about working with clients to find peace, balance and respect for body image, food and movement.
I have experience treating anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, panic disorder, substance use issues, eating disorders/ disordered eating and sleep issues. My specialty is in women’s mental health, and I have completed Postpartum Support International’s training in postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. I’m working toward my certification in Perinatal Mental Health. I am passionate about partnering with people on their journey into parenthood, including family planning, conceiving/fertility issues, and support through perinatal mood changes, the postpartum period, and beyond. I offer parents a safe space to talk honestly through the many challenges of motherhood/fatherhood. Becoming a parent can be both hard and wonderful, and holding space for both is so important. I also work with clients to maintain their sense of self and self-care at a time when both are often most challenged. Partnering with people on their path to change, growth and healing has been an incredible honor and privilege.
