Professional statement

Tanille Louis is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Cranson, RI. Tanille provides psychiatric assessment, medication management, and therapy support to her clients. She often works with clients who experience depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, and OCD.

Besides medication management, Tanille helps clients explore their backgrounds and the external factors at play with their mental health conditions. She recognizes that each client is different, which means that they have different past experiences, different symptoms, and therefore different needs when it comes to treatment. By providing a warm, compassionate space to talk about their symptoms, Tanille helps clients feel more connected with themselves and navigate daily life.

Tanille earned her degree in Advanced Practice Nursing from Boston College. With over ten years of experience in the mental health field, she brings her expertise to each session and helps clients determine their goals for treatment.

Message to clients

I am a board certified Psychiatric -Mental Health nurse practitioner and I have a decade of experience working in the mental health field. I strive to take an integrated approach in my practice, which means considering different areas of your life which may impact wellness such as physical health, lifestyle choices, spirituality and interpersonal connections. I believe that by gaining a deeper understanding of external (as well as internal) factors which may be negatively influencing wellness we are able to develop long-term solutions.

In order to provide individualized care I spend adequate time during assessments to thoroughly understand your challenges and work together collaboratively on treatment goals. I often collaborate with therapists, and integrate supportive therapy into medication management visits. Appointment frequency is individually determined, based on your particular needs. I enjoy working with individuals of diverse backgrounds and I am sensitive to cultural differences in order to ensure your mental health needs are addressed.

I look forward to working with you.
