Professional statement

Dr. Matskevich is a Harvard trained and board certified psychiatrist, as well as an instructor at Harvard Medical School. She provides expertise in psychiatric diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, and medication management. She practices in a way that allows her to have new patient visits within 1-2 weeks, and is able to offer urgent visits to current patients when needed.

She provides warm, supportive, and down to earth care both in person (Brookline) and online to help accommodate busy students, parents, and working professionals.

Dr. Matskevich takes a thorough and comprehensive approach with each patient, with the underlying belief that we can best meet our goals when we best understand ourselves.

She treats the full range of psychiatric symptoms and diagnoses in young adults and adults, with an emphasis on anxiety and depression.

Message to clients

I strongly believe that almost everyone would benefit from spending one hour (of the 168 in a week!) focused on the big picture. Through assessment and therapy, we can identity where we are, where we want to be, and what is standing in between. I dive deep with patients, helping to identify and address their obstacles and goals. This can range from wanting to improve relationships, to getting through a challenging semester, to coping with mental illness. I provide my undivided attention and care, as well as years of training and expertise, to help you utilize all the tools available to you.

It is very important to me to take good care of my patients in a timely manner. This means that I hold time available to see new patients within 1-3 weeks, and am able to offer urgent visits to my current patients when needed.
