Professional statement

Dr. Isaac Nagel is an experienced Board-Certified Psychiatrist at who is available to help work together with individuals to find the appropriate medications that can help them function at their best. He offers remote video sessions to individuals living in NY, NJ, CA, and WI, so you can get help right from the comfort of your home through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video chat that's built into the Skypiatrist website.

Many of his patients come to him when they are at the point where they want to start medications. The majority of Dr. Nagel's patients have depression, anxiety, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, etc. He also has experience in addiction, but he only works with individuals who are looking for a provider who is knowledgeable about addiction and are further along in their recovery.

Dr. Nagel first meets with a patient before determining how often he will see them and what type of medications may work best. He takes a collaborative approach by acting as a consultant rather than telling patients what to do. His individualized care takes into account where the patient is, what they have taken in the past, and what symptoms they currently have.

Dr. Nagel is passionate about the work he does. He received his MD from Ben Gurion University of the Negev's Medical School for International Health in collaboration with Columbia University and completed his psychiatry residency training at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in NYC and has been in practice for over 15 years. He looks forward to meeting you.
