He completed his undergraduate education at UT Austin and finished medical school and psychiatry residency at UT Health San Antonio. He is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, insomnia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, autism, and many other conditions. He started his practice with the goal of providing Texans state wide with psychiatric care that is comprehensive and readily accessible.

Dr. Fuqua is trained in using medication and therapy to improve mental health. He seeks to insure every patient receives appropriate treatment that is both effective and safe while providing insight, guidance, and a stable therapeutic relationship that patients can rely upon.
