Message to clients

Taking the first (or next) step in your treatment is the most brave action you can take. Whether this is your first time seeking care or you've been through it all, I would love a chance to get together with you and be part of your health journey. I use my medical training to incorporate mind and body into every treatment plan. While medications may be part of that plan for you, I'll also help you find ways to increase enjoyable activities, find better nutrition, sleep more consistently, and move your body in a way that feels good to you. I focus on all the things that could be making you feel ill, and try to lessen the burden of your symptoms. Every treatment plan is individualized with your specific and unique needs. I try to sprinkle in humor, genuineness, and mindfulness into each appointment.

I work with children and adults with a variety of mental health needs. I try to make sense of your turmoil and help you see the light at the end of the tunnel. I also try to practice what I preach, so you'll find my treatment suggestions to be achievable. Being in private practice allows me the flexibility to truly meet your needs and think outside of the box we psychiatrists often find ourselves in.

If you're ready to try something new and take that next step in your healing journey, I'm ready to be by your side.
