Message to clients

My name is Dr. Mark Gindi and I am a psychiatrist trained in both psychopharmacology as well as talk therapy. My goal is to always provide patients with compassionate, evolved, evidenced-based treatment that stabilizes their acute symptoms as well as enhances their relationship with themselves. Psychiatric conditions can be complex as they emerge from the intersection of a person’s psychological history, biological endowments, and social context. By forming a therapeutic relationship based on honesty and collaboration, I’m honored and humbled by the opportunity to help someone control their condition and grow into a better understanding of themselves. When medications are used, my aim is to always medicate a person with a conservative approach that is proportional to the burden of their symptoms. As a writer, I am also quite sensitive to the potential effects of medications on people’s creativity and emotional attunement to the world around them.
