Dr. Nikita Shah completed a six-year combined undergraduate-graduate medical school program from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, earning her BA in Psychology and her Doctorate of Medicine. She completed residency at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt program in Baltimore, followed by a Forensic Psychiatry fellowship through Columbia Universityin New York City.

Dr. Shah has worked in a variety of mental health settings (inpatient hospitals, emergency rooms, and forensic hospitals).
