Message to clients

“MY PAIN IS MORE THAN A BIOCHEMICAL IMBALANCE. I AM MORE THAN CHEMICALS IN MY BRAIN. I LAUGH, I CRY, I GET HURT, I CONQUER, I LEARN, I LIVE.”

I have seen way too many people, patients and professionals, reducing the human experience to ‘chemicals in your brain’.

Is that what I am? My passions, my sense of right and wrong, my kindness: all ‘chemicals in my brain’?

Can we have a psychiatry focused on celebrating people for who they are?

Focused on movement and in living life?

We encourage MINIMAL USE OF MEDICATIONS, as we want our patients to address their problems and solve them, as opposed to becoming dependent on the health system for prescriptions. WE CAN ALSO HELP YOU TAPER DOWN AND COME OFF PSYCH MEDS.

TRUE PSYCHIATRY NETWORK focuses on providing a combination of psychotherapy and medication management. Given the psychotherapy component, sessions are preferably weekly which limits the available number of openings. Sessions can be held in PORTUGUESE, SPANISH or ENGLISH.

Currently the service is accepting Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, UNITED HEALTHCARE and NEIGHBORHOOD as insurance.

Sessions are held online via video conference and patients can be seen from the comfort of their homes, unless in person visits are required by standards of practice/ law.
