Hello, I'm A'Myer, and I'm thrilled to connect with you. As a licensed social worker with a Master's Level education, I hold credentials in Texas, Colorado, and New Jersey. With over a thousand hours of experience in anti-racism frameworks and supporting diverse communities, including refugees, asylum-seekers/immigrants, children, youth, and families, I'm here to offer tailored support that fits your unique needs.
My approach is all about collaboration, empathy, and exploration, guided by culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices. With several years of experience in group therapy and individual counseling, I've had the privilege of working with individuals experiencing significant challenges, including those related to mental health, trauma, and racial equity.
My passion for social work springs from my own journey of overcoming adversity. It's a deeply personal calling that allows me to manifest my core beliefs in advocating for every individual's right to a vibrant and fulfilling life.
Specializing in areas like grief & loss, PTSD, addiction, and more, I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Each person I work with brings unique strengths and challenges, and I'm committed to embracing and supporting them without judgment.
Self-discovery and growth are at the heart of my practice. I firmly believe that with dedication and willingness to explore, positive change is not only possible but inevitable. You are deserving of a life filled with meaning and joy, and I'm here to help you uncover your truth and rewrite your story.
I'm genuinely excited to embark on this journey with you. Let's work together to create a future where you can thrive beyond your expectations.
Warmly,
A'Myer
