Adrian is a bilingual (Spanish), licensed clinical social worker in Connecticut and New York. He is passionate about working with young adults and professionals struggling to navigate anxiety/depression, addiction recovery, relationship issues, personal growth, and day to day stressors.
Adrian recognizes the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship. Once that alliance has been established, Adrian collaborates with the client to establish goals and explore evidenced-based approaches. He has extensive experience applying dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) techniques in his work with clients to help improve overall functioning and build a satisfying life.
Adrian obtained his master’s degree in social work in 2017. He completed his post-graduate training in a community healthcare setting in New Haven, Connecticut, providing individual therapy to folks struggling with chronic mental illness and addiction issues. Following this, Adrian worked as a primary clinician at a substance abuse rehab program for teens and young adults where he facilitated family care meetings, intensive outpatient therapy, and individual counseling. As of 2021, Adrian owns and operates his own private therapy practices based out of Milford, Connecticut and Manhattan, New York.
In his spare time, Adrian enjoys traveling, gastronomy, and spending time with his partner, family, friends, three cats, and dog.
