Professional statement

Are you looking for a relatable therapist? Someone who gets how messy life can be and can be real with you? Look no further! My name is Alexis and I am excited you are here! Taking the first step into therapy or even transferring therapists can be very scary. I want to help you reach your goals or get through your troubles in a healthy, safe way. I place high value into the therapeutic relationship and love working with motivated clients!

The idea is to lead a well-balanced life and gain a sense of control rather than feeling like your life is spiraling and you don’t have access to the brakes or steering wheel. So that is my approach toward helping others achieve their goals and create new pathways in life to better themselves.

I believe in the power of creativity, whether in music, art, dance, writing, or whatever brings you happiness. I also think using one’s imagination brings so much joy and inner peace.

Message to clients

experience working in residential units, crisis units, high schools, child welfare, and methadone clinics. Additionally, I have a background in case management, group counseling, and ABA (children with autism). I firmly believe in people using creative methods to express themselves and finding passions that benefit their mental health. So I welcome you and look forward to getting to know you better!
