Alison Mann is a licensed master social worker who is serving clients in New York. Her practice approach is a balance of exploring thought and behavioral patterns, skill building, and providing space for reflective growth. Ultimately, Alison’s goal is to empower you along your journey to live your most authentic life.

She is passionate about working with individuals who are navigating issues with eating disorders, anxiety disorders, body focused repetitive behaviors (skin picking, hair pulling etc) body image and ADHD. She is also particularly passionate about working with athletes and those who have visible differences, such as hair loss.

Alison uses an integrative approach drawing from numerous therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s specific needs and goals. Some of these modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic, Exposure and Response Prevention, solution-focused and mindfulness. Alison also has additional training in Mirror Exposure Therapy and CBT-E, for the treatment of Eating Disorders & body image. She believes that everyone is a unique individual and deserves a unique treatment plan to match.
