Allison Sheaffer is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Providence, Rhode Island. She specializes in complex trauma, anxiety, depression, internal conflict, and stress. Allison is experienced in working with individuals who have survived physical and sexual abuse, and childhood trauma and neglect. Her clients have experienced life transitions, including adoption and foster care. She is also trained in substance abuse counseling. Allison works at JRD Counseling and offers in-person appointments at their Providence office, as well as telehealth appointments during the week and occasionally weekend availabilities.
