Professional statement

I’m Amanda, and I help high achieving anxious, depressed, and highly sensitive people identify their values and heal people pleasing tendencies in order to live a life of alignment. You're frustrated by doing everything you "should" be doing, and realizing those feelings of happiness you were told would come along with this chapter in your life are nowhere to be found. You've gone to school, established a career, perhaps even started a family. You're depleted, and wondering how you can feel so bad when you've done it all right. You might know how you could be happier, but fear of judgment from others keeps you stuck in monotony. What if approval from others didn't matter more than approval from yourself? Wouldn't you like to obtain a more authentic, self-led, peaceful life? After all, whether or not others are happy with your choices hasn't brought those feelings of happiness into your life just yet. Perhaps it's time to forge a different path forward.

Clients I’ve had the honor of working with have overcome the same struggles you’re navigating now. I know it may feel impossible to get from where you are to where you’d like to be. I encourage you to reach out via email to schedule a free consultation so we can get your healing underway

Message to clients

Hi! I’m Amanda, and I help adults and teens identify their needs, values, and heal people pleasing tendencies in order to live a more harmonious life. Working with me, you will discover the root cause of these painful emotional experiences, identify, and change unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, and emerge feeling in control of your own life. You will come to better understand your emotions and find that you can live a fulfilling life. Clients I have had the honor of working with have overcome the same struggles you’re currently navigating. Through engaging in the therapy process and doing the work, they have been able to set boundaries, identify their needs, wants, and values, and prioritize their own wellbeing. They’re living the life they’ve dreamed of, and they tailored it entirely themselves. While we will certainly be discussing some serious topics in therapy, I take a laid back and personalized approach to the process. A positive therapeutic relationship is one of the best indicators for a successful experience in therapy, and I use my humor and personality throughout. I find that showing up as my real authentic self encourages those I have had the privilege of working with to do the same. I welcome you as you are, and I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your dream reality.
