Amanda has 4 years of experience so far, in this ever growing and changing field of psychology & mental health. Amanda has worked with larger companies in the mental health field (Rogers Behavioral Health & Refresh Mental Health) where she gained some very valuable knowledge and experience. Amanda is taking the leap now to private practice to be able to focus on the clients and work to tailor her approach to what each person wants and needs, if that is within her realm of competency to do so.

Amanda has significant experience in working with moderate to severe eating disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder(OCD) in higher levels of care (IOP/PHP/Residential)

Amanda is always reading a book that is related to helping her learn and grow as therapist and/or person.

Her love as a practitioner is to help people connect to and process their current emotions through the vehicle of their physical body.

-Fully VIRTUAL Practice available to anyone in WISCONSIN

Message to clients

I am a therapist who regularly seeks out therapy myself (Brainspotting has been the one that works best at this point in my journey to feel all the feels and let them be processed out through the physical body). I try to practice what I help lead others through and I am always open to growing and learning. I wholeheartedly believes people CAN change *if* they are willing to do the self reflective of work of going inside and looking at how their thoughts, behaviors and emotions (CBT) all interconnect. This can be a messy process and will look different for each and every person. It is my 's belief that there are many avenues to healing and each journey will look and feel slightly differently. If one can go deep inside their self and explore their beliefs, experiences, and make meaning out of this world while in relation to another human being (aka therapist) great understanding and change can occur. If you are at a point in your life where you are feeling stuck, unsure which change to make first, overwhelmed by all the options, want to be seen, heard, valued & have your journey honored by a fellow traveler then reach out to Amanda to connect and have a conversation to see if she would be a good companion for the road you want to take.
