Andrea is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Courageous Footsteps Counseling PLLC. She specializes in working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, and life transitions. Many of her clients seek therapy feeling overwhelmed, lost, or emotionally drained, and Andrea provides the support they need to regain clarity and confidence.
Her goal is to help clients identify the root causes of their anxiety, process traumatic experiences, rebuild trust in themselves and others, and develop practical coping skills. Through this work, clients can manage triggers more effectively and bounce back from life’s challenges with greater resilience.
Andrea’s therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, validation, and hope. She creates a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore their strengths, gain insight, and foster personal growth. By integrating techniques from evidence-based therapies—including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 & 2), and Solution-Focused Therapy—she tailors treatment to meet each client's unique needs.
Andrea earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University and has experience working with diverse populations in community mental health and private practice settings.
Outside of therapy, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family, reading, attending rock concerts, and traveling.
She provides online counseling for clients in Texas and Washington. If you're interested in working with Andrea, schedule a complimentary consultation to share your goals and learn more about her practice.
