Psychologist, PhDDr. Annie Bollini is a Clinical Psychologist located in Washington, DC and licensed in all 34 PSYPACT states (e.g., MD, VA, GA). For the past 15 years, she has worked with adolescents and adults and specializes in helping clients with life transitions and change, adjustment, trauma, anxiety, stress, and sleep issues.
A client might present to therapy for grief or job loss and need to process their feelings and accept life changes. Or, a client might present to therapy after a trauma experiencing posttraumatic stress disorder symptoms and want to engage in more structured evidence-based trauma treatment. Dr. Bollini is flexible and works collaboratively with clients to identify their therapy needs and tailor the treatment to meet their goals, whether exploring and processing an issue or more structured evidence-based therapy. Partnering together to reach therapy goals is essential.
Dr. Bollini obtained her doctorate from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Since, she has worked extensively with military veterans at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and civilians in private practice. The main techniques she uses are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), CBT for insomnia, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE), as well as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
All sessions are telehealth. Telehealth is an excellent way to meet with the therapist you choose from the comfort and safety of a location you prefer without travel hassles. The technology is easy; clients receive a secure link for each session - just click to start the meeting.
