Professional statement

Dr. Brian Bantel is a Psychologist located in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Bantel is particularly passionate about working with children and adolescents who struggle with depression, anxiety, educational challenges, or family conflicts. He has experience working with individuals whose ADHD might lead to difficulties at school, at work, or in relationships, as well as those who are highly irritable, especially in the face of stress. Dr. Bantel also enjoys working with men who would like to deepen their relationships with themselves and learn more about mental health.

For each individual, Dr. Bantel tailors his approach including which therapy modalities employed during the session. For some, he’ll draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotion Focused Therapy. For clients who are young, he’ll engage them through play therapy or sandtray therapy. Clients leave sessions with tangible skills to help them cope with distress or anxiety, as well as a feeling of being heard, valued, and respected.

Dr. Bantel earned a PsyD from Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Phoenix. He believes that therapy can be an excellent resource for individuals and a way of achieving goals in an intentional, balanced way. He is a compassionate therapist who dedicates himself to supporting his clients and helping them to grow.
