Nourish and Flourish Clinic is a warm and welcoming environment to heal, grow, and gain insight. Our practice recognizes and honors that everyone is unique and can benefit from their own pace and process throughout therapy. Dr. Kaballo’s approach is warm and collaborative, with an emphasis on building a strong therapeutic alliance and clearly identifying client’s short and long term goals. She provides an eclectic range of evidence-based approaches that can be tailored for each individual.
Over the course of Dr. Kaballo’s career, she has worked in a variety of settings which have offered a breadth of experience. Some of these settings have included UCLA, Emory University, the Alhambra Unified School District, private practices, and a nationally and an internationally recognized residential treatment center.
Dr. Cecily Kaballo specializes in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for children with challenging behaviors as well for children with anxiety. An additional area of specialty is supporting adults as they transition to parenthood. She is currently offering sessions online and in person to California residents.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Child mental health - Specialized strategies for common childhood disorders including attention issues, attachment problems, behavioral disorders, learning disorders, autism spectrum diagnoses, and feeding or elimination issues.
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress
Parenting - Helping parents develop and implement strategies to address challenges that arise throughout childrearing; managing stress and increasing support
Pregnancy, perinatal, postpartum mental health - Addressing issues specific to women and families during the pregnancy and postpartum period, including postpartum depression and anxiety
