Professional statement

Christina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Howard County, Maryland. Currently, she provides teletherapy for individuals and families. For many years, Christina was a school based clinician that provided direct counseling services to middle and high school students that were challenged with a range of developmental differences and needs, including ADHD, Autism, Depression, Anxiety and Mood Dysregulation.

Christina provides therapeutic services to adolescents, young adults in transition and to older adults by using the following approaches and methods: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Strategic Planning. These approaches are most successful in Christina's experience. However, the main foundation of Evolve is to utilize one's personal strengths to move toward balancing life around stress, being more present to conquer fears and to take steps to transform challenges into successes!

Christina firmly supports ways for her clients to find balance, presence and transformation into their daily habits. These lessons are the key elements to evolving into the best version of oneself, and it's how clients effectively take steps toward recovering, healing and changing. Those that work with Christina will uncover their personal power to adapt and evolve with and around the big and small changes. This framework is Christina's personal and clinical perspective to strengthen the therapeutic alliance so that clients can set their own goals and move through their challenges in order to transform life into healthier and happier living.

Message to clients

Hello, and thanks for reading about my practice.

Being a therapist is a mission for me. I want people to learn how to navigate traumatic events and life transitions; people need support, and sometimes an unbiased ear, which is why I'm here for you. Your searching for the right therapist is a huge step toward taking control of what holds you back from truly living your life.

I've helped many people sort through very difficult situations, intrusive thoughts and feelings. I believe that clients should walk away from each session with something tangible, a life challenge of some kind, and if you just want to talk, that's okay too! I'm here to listen and guide, and you decide where we go.

Take that step by sending me a message, and let me know how I can support you.

Be well!

Christina~
