Mrs. Higgins received her Master’s in social work and Bachelor’s in social work and criminal justice from Florida Atlantic University with a focus on children and families. She gained experience in the school setting, community mental health, substance abuse/recovery agencies and the criminal justice system. She has sat on several paneled discussions throughout the state of Florida and has facilitated several mental health, substance abuse and couples’ groups which enables her to serve several populations for over 28 years. Her office offers telehealth sessions at this time.
