Professional statement

I have a Holistic perspective in my approach to psychotherapy, rooted in an interest in spirituality, social justice, and meditation. I have focused on working with clients with Anxiety, Depression, Life transitions, Relationship Issues Trauma and Grief and Loss. I am influenced by the work and perspectives of Carl Jung, sometimes engaging clients in dream work. I also use Yoga Nidra and imagery techniques to help clients resolve and heal from trauma. In addition to my Psychotherapy practice, I have provided Clinical Supervision to MA-level therapists working in community counseling. Before entering the field I worked in non-profit management and outreach. My personal interests include, music, politics, yoga, kickboxing and meditation.

Message to clients

Throughout life we face many challenges, some internal and some external. In my view therapy is about lifelong growth and evolution, bringing us closer to becoming our most authentic self and fulfilling our souls purpose. Therapy provides an open space to freely explore our concerns and express our passions in an honest, authentic way, free of social or familial pressures or judgements. Sometimes, the best parts of ourselves have become exiled into the unconscious. by exploring and reintegrating these crucial aspects of our identity we become more fulfilled and whole. I look forward to working with you.
