My name is Derrick Betting and I founded a company called real talk llc that aims to make access to counseling and therapy services as simple as possible. I offer fully-online therapy services so that things like travel expenses, restrictive schedule, and social anxiety don't have to stand in the way of getting the help you need. I am passionate about working with those who are living with trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, and other Men's issues.

After spending nearly 10 years working in the Business and IT industry and a hand-full of years in the US Navy, I found my passion in helping people heal from past trauma and realize their true potential. It was coaching young kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu that helped me realize this passion and calling. We don't have to let our past experiences dictate the trajectory of our future. We are the captain of our own ship. While the pathway forward will look different for all and no two clients face the exact same challenges, I believe that we can always "course-correct" and create the life that we've always wanted.
